UKJV Rom 12: 2 And be not conformed to this world:
but be all of you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that all of
you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
He has the good, acceptable, and perfect.
Let me help illustrate this:
http://www.churchsports.org/faq.html
The word "sin" in
early Greek was actually an archery term; it literally meant to "miss the
mark." When an archer shoots at a target, he aims at the "bull's eye" -
the center of the target. When the arrow landed anywhere else, the archer
"sinned" - he missed the mark. The term began to be used in Christendom
when people began to miss the mark - the absolutes of God found in His
character or His commands found in Scripture. In other words, when I live
my life contrary to the precepts, counsel or commands of God (the center
of the target for my life), I have "missed the mark, I have sinned."
This isn't the best
illustration, by itself, as sin, described here, would mean missing the
bulls eye. But sin in actuality is missing the target altogether. The target
has 3 rings, the center being the bulls eye. But there are 2 rings around
the bulls eye. Here is a picture of an actual archery target:
That target as you see has more than 3,
but God uses three's throughout scripture as He did in Rom 12:2.
I will give you a Biblical example of this
in a moment. The main purpose of this page is to show the method God desires
His people to deal with the coming New World Order, or as some call the
One World Government or even Babylon. Some people believe in voting and
taking political action. This would be the furthest circle from the center,
as it involves physical action. Now this is good and can be done if the
system itself isn't corrupt and change can take place. But many believe
America is beyond that and the corrupt system won't allow change. Then
some resort to the next step; warfare. You have militias preparing for
the coming Police State and so on. On a lesser scale, you have civilians
taking law into their own hands and are defending the borders. While these
2 examples are different, they both come from the same source, to defend
others at the risk of one's self.
MKJV Rom 5: 7 For one will with difficulty die
for a righteous one, yet perhaps one would even dare to die for a good
one.
You see this is chivalry. This is heroic.
This is good. And it is a great thing to lift a sword in defense of others.
But to die to self, rather than die physically is even greater. Look at
this verse here:
1 John 3: 6: Hereby perceive we the love of God,
because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives
for the brethren. 17: But whoso hath this world's good,
and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion
from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18: My little children, let us not
love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19: And hereby we know that we are
of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20: For if our heart condemn us, God
is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21: Beloved, if our heart condemn us
not, then have we confidence toward God.
This is John speaking, and that is important
and will discuss this in a bit, but he is speaking about the heart, being
open to the need. It is much easier to be religious and give sacrifices
for others when we are made into heroes, because we gain from it, even
if it's a pride of remembrance after death. Now I know there are cases
when the heart is pure and the motive right to sacrifice one's self physically
for others. But that is NOT the case in all situations.
Eccl 3:1: To every thing there is a
season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
Let's get into this greater blessing. You
see John had it. Many believe Peter was the highest disciple, and this
came from Catholicism, but scripture says John had the greater place.
Jn 13:23: Now there was leaning on Jesus'
bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
Jn 19:26: When Jesus therefore saw his
mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his
mother, Woman, behold thy son!
Jn 20:2: Then she runneth, and cometh
to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith
unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know
not where they have laid him.
What was the difference between Peter and
John? Well Peter was a man of the sword, and when the soldiers came to
take Jesus, Peter struck one and cut off his ear. While John was the only
disciple who actually went to the cross to see Jesus. Peter lived by the
sword and he died by the sword:
Mt 26:51: And, behold, one of them which
were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck
a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. 52: Then said Jesus unto him, Put up
again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall
perish with the sword.
Now did Peter sin? No. But Jesus told him
of this consequence. You reap what you sow, and to the degree you submit
to God's perfect will is the degree of protection you have
from satan (besides any other graces that may or may not be there-graces
are gifts that are not earned).
Job:1:10: Hast not thou made an hedge
about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every
side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance
is increased in the land.
Eccl 10: MKJV 8 He who digs a pit shall fall into
it; and whoever breaks a hedge, a snake shall bite him.
Because Peter lived by the sword and John
did not, Jesus discussed their last days with them:
MKJV John 21: 18 Truly, truly, I say to you, When
you were young, you girded yourself and walked where you wished. But when
you grow old, you shall stretch forth your hands and another shall gird
you and carry you where you do not wish. 19 He spoke this signifying by what
death he should glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him,
Follow Me. 20 ¶ Then Peter, turning around,
saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following (the one who also leaned on
His breast at supper, and said, Lord, who is he who betrays You?) 21 Seeing him, Peter said to Jesus,
Lord, and what of this one? 22 Jesus said to him, If I desire that
he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.
You see John, whom Jesus loved, was the
only disciple that church tradition and history tells us was not killed.
Well, some would say, "So what! The martyrs
will be rewarded! And I am helping others." This may be true, but it's
not the greater blessing. And in some cases, it will NOT help others as
I will show later. Remember Moses? God would not let him into the Promised
land because Moses disobeyed. Earlier when the Israelites were thirsty
God told Moses to take his staff and hit the rock and water flowed. The
2nd time however, God told Moses to speak to the rock to give water to
the people. But Moses got angry at the people and struck the rock instead.
His anger cost him God's greater blessing.
There is a time for anger, even Jesus used
it once in the Temple, I do not deny it. But once again, there is a time
for it. But the day is coming when we need to not take up the sword. Jesus
told the disciples to have swords, they told Him they had 2, He said it
was enough. That's 2 swords amongst 12 disciples, showing us that the work
of the sword is NOT the primary resource. Here is what God wants us to
do for the take over by the New World Order:
Math 5: 25: Agree with thine adversary quickly,
whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver
thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou
be cast into prison.
Jer 27: 2: Thus saith the LORD to me; Make
thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck, 5: I have made the earth, the man and
the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched
arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. 6: And now have I given all these lands
unto the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the
beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
When Israel sinned, and they were beyond
the point of the elect changing the nation, it was time to put away the
sword and the diplomacy, because God ordained the judgment on them. Therefore
resisting that judgment would be resisting God. Jeremiah told the people
that if they wanted to preserve their lives and their seed, they must not
fight Babylon. Another prophet came after this and said that Babylon would
last only 2 years. Jeremiah warned him about prophesying peace. This prophet
then took Jeremiah's yoke and broke it. Later that year that prophet died.
There are ministers today who seek to deny
the coming Babylon, and are resisting it, or lessening it. This is dangerous:
1Thes:5:20: Despise not prophesyings.
Despising means to make little of, it is
similar to the danger of taking away God's written word which also has
a penalty:
Rev 22: 19: And if any man shall take away
from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part
out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things
which are written in this book.
This is the attitude we should have at
such a time:
Dan 3: 14: Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto
them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my
gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? 15: ... ye fall down and worship the
image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast
the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that
God that shall deliver you out of my hands? 16: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego,
answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to
answer thee in this matter. 17: If it be so, our God whom we serve
is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver
us out of thine hand, O king. 18: But if not, be it known unto thee,
O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which
thou hast set up.
God will give us what we should say:
Luke 12: 4: And I say unto you my friends, Be
not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that
they can do. 11: And when they bring you unto the
synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or
what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12: For the Holy Ghost shall teach
you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
God tells us what is going to happen to
those of us who resist and take up the sword:
Dan 11: 14: And in those times there shall
many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy
people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall
fall. 15: So the king of the north shall
come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms
of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall
there be any strength to withstand. 16: But he that cometh against him
shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and
he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. 33: And they that understand among
the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by
flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34: Now when they shall fall, they
shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with
flatteries. 35: And some of them of understanding
shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to
the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. 36: And the king shall do according
to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every
god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and
shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined
shall be done. 40: And at the time of the end...
These verses tell us alot. It shows us
that the coming anti-christ will succeed until God's anger is accomplished.
We also see that many of God's people will be instructed by some who are
wise, and they will resist the anti-christ, but they will fall and fail.
We are even shown why they fail, because God is purifying his church which
became corrupted, they didn't seek His perfect will, even though some of
them had great wisdom. We also see this is a prophecy of the end times,
and so we can be certain this is not a prophecy that has already taken
place.
Resisting the corruption in America is
futile. The nobility of it is vain, because there will be no positive outcome.
If you struggle against this, the struggle is of the soul, of self defense;
or even a more righteous defense for those you love, but nonetheless this
cause will not help those you love. Those of understanding will fall.
What I say here has nothing to do with
the rapture, nothing to do with whether the antichrist is a person or a
spirit moving upon people. None of that matters. You can disbelieve in
the rapture or a physical anti-christ, but God's word shows us we should
not resist it's coming. I am NOT advocating the personal acceptance of
sin and evil as acceptable. What Jeremiah prophesied is what Daniel's 3
friends believed when they were thrown into the fiery furnace.
Amendment:
I am adding and amending this page. I have discovered a possible allowance
and even God's perfect will for some who may be called to pick up the sword.
Dan 11 6: And in the end of years they shall join themselves together... 14: And in those times there shall many stand up against the king
of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to
establish the vision; but they shall fall. 15: So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and
take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand,
neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. 16: But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own
will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious
land, which by his hand shall be consumed. 32: And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt
by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong,
and do exploits. 33: And they that understand among the people shall instruct
many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity,
and by spoil, many days. 34: Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little
help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35: And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them,
and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end:
because it is yet for a time appointed. 40: And at the time of the end ...
I guess it won't be fruitless, cause verse 32 says they will do many
exploits, yet, they will fall and the anti-christ will overcome, until
Jesus comes to consume him with the power of His word. You know, perhaps
some folks need this because they need to be purged and made white (verse
35). If that's their goal (the leaders whom these verses call 'them of
understanding'), is to reach the folks who refuse to do God's best and
want take up the sword, and help them be purged and sacrifice themselves
with them, I guess that would be noble. I guess they will even get a crown
as martyr, so that's cool. The purpose here is for those believers or possible
unbelievers, who wish to resist the anti-christ to get them purified in
their faith. It's a self work, not a work which will stop the anti-christ
or Babylon.
